Kim-too busy

Since Kim is super busy at work dealing with the hated auditors, Jim has offered to guest blog until she has more time.

Hello. Sorry for the lack of updates, Kim gave me her card and it's full of pics so here is a random sampling:

Rachel at doctor's office.... little did she know a shot was mere minutes away.

Our family at Christmas with Great Grandma.

Sarah and Derek in the Broken Arrow Christmas Parade.

Their patience that morning was quite remarkable.

Rachel brushes her own teeth every night. She then has to tell everyone about it, and it sounds like she is saying: "keith".

The kids built their own zip line in the backyard, out
of some rope and an old swingset seat.

Derek is having a turn.

The rope in front of them is the tension line.

We took the kids to the zoo and Rachel got to pet the "puppies".

Grandma J. and Rachel.

Sometimes Rachel is not amused by the antics of others.

Kim here--thanks honey for adding pictures!! As Jim said, it has been very busy at work and will be for awhile. I am very thankful to have a job though so better not complain too much! Rachel is continuing to keep us amused at home. As stated in one of my emails, she loves her baby dolls right now. Her vocabulary is increasing day by day but her favorite word is still "no". However, no means no and no means yes. I think though I almost have it down. No means no when she shakes her head violently and says "no, no, no" and no means yes when she just says "noooo" in a soft voice.

Derek and Sarah are just keeping very busy with school work. At home, when they aren't making their own zip lines (I could only visualize broken bones, but I must say it was quite ingenius of them with the tension line and everything they had going), or riding bikes or scooters, they play their Nintendo DS's. Jim got Guitar Hero for XBox 360 so we all play that now and then also. Rachel gets up and dances to it.

I also have been busy trying to figure out how to get ready for the next baby. I bought a dresser/changing table so that I have more drawer space for clothes since there are 2 little ones now. Not much else will fit in that room though. Also, I will have to start looking at some rugs since the pastel one will move to Sarah's room with Rachel and her bed. The ceiling fan happens to be reversible from pastel to primary so that works well.

Better go for now!
